Often- TheWeekend
Listening to the weekend's songs, and I don't mean the actual weekend like Saturday and Sunday I'm talking about the artist. There are certain songs that I like because of his unique but catchy beats but also the way he sings and raps in every song that give it that special touch to make you want to listen to every song. Like the song he recently came out with called, "The Hills'' is one of my favorite songs that he has came out with because of the change of the tempo of the beat snd the way he switches his mood from the chorus to the verse.

Like Mother Like Daughter?
This is a very interesting mystery death because as I was reading an article, it never said if there was a suspecting murder, or accidental drowning. But they did say that when she was found in the bathtub unresponsive, there were marks on her neck. Which lead people to believe that her boyfriend had something to do with the death of Bobbi Kristina because she was seen with him a couple days before her discovery in the bathtub. But what really caught my attention was how she was found in a bathtub just like her mother on February 11,2015. Like that doesn’t just happen on purpose, it happened for a particular reason. Maybe a reason we don’t know and may find out in the future from the autopsy or maybe we might just never know at all. But no matter what there will be questions and conspiracy theories of why she was in the tub just like her mother on the same day as if she was, mourning her death. I personally feel that she was found in the tub because she was doing it as a remembrance to her mother because this doesn’t add up. Same day and there were marks all over her neck who was there with her? Was it her who did it to herself or was it someone else that was close to her? Or maybe was it her mother’s spirits? We will not get any answers until the autopsy is finished and any further information is complete. What are you thoughts on this death was it accidental or maybe did it happen for a reason? There will always be untold mysteries in every case, it’s just of matter of how dark are the secrets.
Star 67- Drake
Listening to the song brings me to a mood of relaxation even though the song may portray another type of emotion. I just feel that every time I listen to the song just brings me good vibes no matter what type of day it is. I don't know really, I like Drake as a songwriter he all good but the beef between him and one of my favorite all time rappers, Meek Mill is funny. But I have to go for my Meek because no matter what he spits the truth in every song.

Dreamchasers- Meek Mill
Ever since Meek Mill released his album, Dreamchasers in 2011 I became an instant fan because yes, his music may sound like ganster rap but it's all from the life he grew up, visualized, and experienced as a kid and young adult. I find hat to e the best music because it's not a lie like every other rapper talks about it's true.

Viva Mi Vida- Marc Anthony
To be honest I just love this song so much its just gives me a vibe that puts me in a mood to sing and dance even though I don't like to sing or dance that much. That's how much I love this song. Put it's also the beat of the song and how it forces you to have to get up and dance to it even if you don't know how to dance. Almost 9 out of the 10 times you will here this song at a party, wedding, or cookout especially a cookout because it's a song that can be danced slow, fast, or just at any pace.

Who Let The Cats Out- Mike Stern
Listening to fusion is weird to me. I don't know like it a bunch of different tempos put into one song that just gives off a weird vibe. Maybe its the song or it's just because it's not my forte when it comes to listening to songs. I like the guitar solo because he has a nice touch to the strings and it's just fascinating as well as the drummer. I feel fusion drummers each has a similar but unique way of playing the drums.

Reggae
Fly Rasta- Ziggy Marley
Listening to the song brings me to an island because of the soft tone as Ziggy Marley sings the chorus then his background singers repeat in unison in a soft tone that relaxes you. But the song wasn't the only thing that caught my attention, it was also the video. In the video it shows a professional artist drawing slash air brushing a portrait of what I believe is Bob Marley and his family. I loved the portrait because its catchy with the background colors and the detailed characters.

Blues
BB King-Boogie
Listening to this song makes me understand the charisma and energy BB King had for the blues and the songs he he made. Especially when he would play his guitar the way he would play every note. I feel when he plays his guitar, its a whole new BB King comes out because of the rhythm and I don't know he just plays like no other, and when I listen to other guitar players of my generation I can see the similarity from now til today. Now I understand why people say you can't say blues without mentioning BB King.

Jazz
Louis Armstrong- Ive Got My Love To Keep Me Warm
In this vintage song by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald it's a collection of jazz with a duet of them to singing at the same time. As I listen to it it reminds me of a old classical song in the 1950's or 1960's where a man and women who have a thing for each other and sing together. It also reminds me of two movies called, " Grease and Footloose" I don't know why, just in Grease they sing in parts of the movie where the young John Travolta and a girl would sing a song together.

Disturbed- Indestructible
Disturbed is a Heavy Metal rock band that originated in Chicago, Illinois with their debut of their first album in 2000 called, "The Sickness" and now have a total of twelve albums being their lasted called, "The Collection." I've first heard of them through my uncle who would always play their songs in the car s loud as possible and rock to it as if he thought he was the lead singer. But as I began to listen to their songs, I began to like their music because it's a band that talks about the horrifying things in life like hunger and brutality.

Drake- 6 Man
Fro the title of the album, I knew this album would be a mystery box of songs that relate to his in the "Six" or Toronto. From February 12, 2015 when the album was released it was bound to draw millions of people to listen and buy the album. But there was one song in particular that drew my attention, "6 Man" it caught my attention because of the background beat with Drake's austerity attitude but in my opinion head bumping son because of his style of rap and tone of his voice that brings out the beat.

Folk
Ramblin Jack Elliot-Hard Travelin'
This song was first released in the album called, "Friends of Mine" in 1973. Jack Elliot started his career in 1958 and has forty albums under his belt. He considered to be one of the lengendary folk artist that is left. In this song it has a, what I would say a traditional folk beat where its a soft tone that begans to rise in tone. But as I listen to the song it talks about all the hard things he has done when traveling through his life such as going to jail for ninety days, all the jobs he had, and going from state to state. It sort of seems like a reflection that he has with him and the lord.

Lee Brice- I Drive Your Truck
At first as I was listening to the song, I kept questioning the title. Why was it called, I Drive Your Truck? So I began to lose intrest into the song because I'm not a fan of the music but one it began to lead into the chorus i began to enjoy because of the soft tone melody and the beat of the song. So as I started to listen to the song again I began to understand why he titled the song. It was because it was his brothers truck who died in the US Army. Throughout the song he would refer to his brother by saying, "you'll probably punch my arm right now if you saw me tear right now" and then say, " Momma asked me this morning if I've been by your grave." Now that I listen to the song now I now like the song because now I understand the meaning of the song and actually like the song now.

Introduction
My name is Jonah Galan, I like to listen to rap music but various types of music such as old school rap and some of todays rap. I like to listen to rap because I feel when someone raps they speak from an experience they have seen or visualized in their life but send a message that isn't necessarily shown but you have to feel and understand it threw the beat and tempo.
From the start of the beat to the message of the voice has changed the way I see and understand things in my life. As a young kid to today, I was always curios on how things happened and why they happened. So as I listened to music it helped understand life and why certain things happen for a reason. In 1996, Nas came out with an album that was called, "It Was Written" and every time I listen to his album I receive a different message every time because I understand certain songs that I didn't before and I learn the reasoning of each song.
